Aug 08 review:My family and I have stayed at many locations in the Glen Arbor area since we began vacationing there in 1999: The Homestead Resort's several properties, the Sleepy Bear Campground, and other rental homes. We haven't enjoyed any of them as much as the Foxwood. The location is perfect for a walk into town. The river amenities are wonderful - especially since well-behaved dogs are allowed. Having a full kitchen and laundry makes vacations perfect for us. It may seem silly, but we really appreciate the heating & cooling system! It works perfectly in winter & in summer! We'll keep returning because the house is ideal for us and staff always remembers us. We wish there was a King-sized bed, but we always manage to sleep past 9am which is really late for us!
