2009 guest comment: I have been coming to the area for 20 years. This was my first stay at the Homestead. I had a wonderful view of the forest. Wind whispered in the leaves, cool and quiet. Deer could be seen from the windows. The location was very close and convenient to some excellent trails and sights in the Sleeping Bear Park. After a long day hiking, the whirlpool tub was great for relaxing.
