Guest comment May 2008: Perfect place for families with children. The beach area and pier were a hit, the backyard is big enough for some close-quarters soccer (trees make great goals) and frisbee. We didn't use the firepit, but only because we were busy with other things. The kitchen was stocked with only the every basic essentials- no big pot for pasta (with a 6 adults and 2 kids, you need to be able to fix a lot of food at once- can't do that in the kitchen as stocked). That said, we did just fine cooking the meals we ate there. The appliances are of good quality. The location is VERY quiet! The only noises we heard were from the very occasional small powerboat, never any road noise.Views from the deck are fantastic.Plenty of space to spread out, even with a full house of people. Extra half-bath is very useful. July 09 comment: There are many places to visit in the Leelanau peninsula and surrounding area. Beaches are plentiful, hiking and gorgeous scenery is everywhere. Aug 09 comment: This was a great location and home to vacation in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with families or looking for an escape from the hectic world.
