Minutes to downtown Traverse City. Bay Blue is located on the Leelanau Peninsula just outside of Traverse City. Close to public boat access. Cherry Festival-3 miles, TC Film Festival 3 miles, Horse Shows by the Bay-14 miles are all minutes away. Dining less than a mile from this home. 30 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, 15 minutes to Suttons Bay. Less than 10 minutes to the closest winery. (There are more than 20 in this area) Hiking/biking trails nearby. 1/3 mile to marina/park in Greilickvile. No Smoking.
October 08 guest comment:I was surprised at the amenities that the Bay Blue Cottage provided. All we had to bring was clothing and food. Even the hand soap was provided. The location was perfect, central to Leland, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Traverse City. Four of us girls go to Traverse City for Columbus Day weekend every year and usually stay in a hotel. Having 2 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen was great. We even had a bonfire each night. The Bay being right outside the front door was the perfect place to watch the sunrise. We are looking forward to renting the Bay Blue cottage again next year.

May 09 guest:Great! We really enjoyed Bay Blue. We have been there before and will go again. Our guests were pleased with the whole area especially the house. The place was spotless. We couldn't ask for better accomodations. June 2009 comment: My four sisters and I were looking for some place quiet,clean and close to Traverse city where we could bond and enjoy ourselves on our yearly sisters trip. And did we ever find it at The Bay Blue Cottage in Traverse City. From the moment we walked in the front door we loved the cottage. Every room was perfecty clean and adorable. We really liked the fact that the kitchen was so well stocked with everything that we needed. The linens and towels were of very good quality. We enjoyed quiet mornings looking out over the bay and our evenings down at the cabana looking over the bay at the lights of Traverse City were wonderful. We were all in agreement (for a change) that this was the best place that we have ever stayed on our trips and we are all looking forward to our next stay here
August 09 comment:This was the second time we vacationed at Bay Blue Cottage, and it was a great experience. A second full bathroom was added since our first stay, which was a great addition since we had a family of 6 there.
The home and touches are wonderful. We used the Cabana daily barbecuing everything from hot dogs to salmon. We also used the fire pit almost every evening. The kids had a great time in the water as well. We really enjoyed sitting in the Cabana or around the fire, and watching the sunset - picture perfect!
