You will love this stunning home in Omena on 225 feet of West Grand Traverse Bay on 3 acres. It does not get any better than this in this private, restful retreat far from the busy hub of life but close enough to all the fun in beautiful Northern Michigan. 2 level house on a quiet side street, faces east. Main house has bedroom on main floor with 1 Queen. Uptairs bedroom has 1 King. Carriage house has 3 bedrooms with 2 sets of bunks (Full/Twin) in one room, King & 2 Futons in second room and 1 Queen in third room. Sleeps up to 13 guests.

Beautiful decor and beams of light stream into the house. Kitchen is fully stocked and has dishwasher, water filtration, and lots more. High efficiency washer/dryer. If it gets a little chilly there is a wood burning fireplace. Direct TV, DVD (in both the house and carraige house), WiFi.

Outdoors, enjoy huge frontage and amazing acreage of trees and wildflowers with lighted path to the shoreline. Relax on the porch or deck right by the house or on the deck right by the water. There is a dock too (no overnight dockage please). Hot tub for four overlooks the lake.

Located between Northport and Suttons Bay, Omena offers peace and quiet and easy access to all the Leelanau attractions. A great spot to visit the fabulous Leelanau wineries! 30 minutes to Traverse City and 45 minutes to the Sleeping Bear Dunes.

    The home and property are beautiful. We had a bonfire in the evening by the water and it felt as if we were at the ocean. The interior of the home was decorated with great attention to detail and it was perfect for 4 couples as we each had our own space. We were not given the wifi password so were without that the first night and I must comment on the limited amount of kitchen utensils and cookware. There were not enough dishes, glasses etc for a party of eight. The oven was still very dirty as complained about in another review. The spider/cobwebs were still in the tall kitchen ceiling as well. I would also suggest more bath towels and better with better quality. Overall the home was beautiful and enjoyable! I called the property company on three occasions with questions, with no return call prior to our stay.

    The property was absolutely beautiful! The grounds were manicured perfectly and we watched the moon come up over the lake every night. The house is sold as a 5 bedroom. Actually it is four bedrooms with a loft. In order to get to the loft you have to go
    through the master bedroom and bathroom and is completely open to the downstairs living room. Also, the kitchen could have been stocked better. Salt and pepper, drainer, dish towels and oven mitts.

      We have "beefed up" the kitchen items so there are plenty of items for all the chefs out there! Also, there are now 2 bedrooms in the main house (plus the loft, but that does not have a bed in it and we do not consider it a bedroom) and 3 bedrooms in the carraige house.

    A beautiful setting and a well appointed home. The landscaping and view were incredible. Could have used a few more kitchen utensils/pots/pans - seemed to be the bare minimum. Convenient to many attractions in the area.

    The floor in the family room is painted plywood. Did not make it easy to keep clean, but a BEAUTIFUL HOME. Pictures do not do it justice and I have rented many vacation properties. Also home was missing some kitchen essentials, but manager brought them right over after we requested them. Also more directions on garbage pick-up/placement would have been helpful. Would return. The house and lake really are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures.
