Spectacular view property near Crystal Lake that is a perfect peaceful retreat. Relax on the deck and enjoy the views of Lake Michigan and the Platte Lakes. 3 bedrooms plus small loft and 2 bathrooms. On a quiet street, faces Northeast. Sleeps 9.

1 King, 1 Queen, and set of bunks (2 Twins). Day bed in loft area. Full kitchen with diswasher, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, 2 TV's (Dish Network being added May 2012), DVD, VCR. Phone. Head up to the eagle's nest and enjoy the great views. Spacious deck for relaxing and grilling out. Tucked in the woods, this home offers peace and quiet, but is not far from Beulah and Frankfort for shopping, dining, golf, and outdoor activities. Open year round--14 miles to Crystal Mountain for great skiing. If you rent in the winter, make sure to bring an AWD vehicle, the driveway is on an incline. 3 miles to a public beach on Crystal Lake and 6 miles to Lake Michigan. Head north about 3 miles to Riverside Canoe Trips for kayaking or tubing down the Platte River. Make sure to grab a pie at the famous Cherry Hut restaurant! 27 miles to Traverse City.

Linens included. No smoking. Your well mannered pet is welcome. Central air conditioning. Short stays possible during any season- ask us!

From the moment we walked in the door we knew that we made a good choice by staying at Far Horizons. This home in the woods is very nicely appointed with modern amenities and open floor plan. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making sure their
guests have a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well equipped kitchen and many of the supplies we needed to enjoy our visit. We also found that the location is ideal for exploring Northwest Michigan. Scenic Hwy 22, Sleeping Bear, Traverse
City, etc.. are all just a short drive away.

The house was new and in excellent shape with plenty of paper products, soap, etc provided. It is not on the water, but close the a number of beaches.

Have been coming to the area for 15+ years for the fall salmon run and this was a big upgrade in our accomodations. The home is in spectacular condition and includes all the amenities needed (wifi would complete the package). The kitchen was outfitted very well and the appliances were great.

Great location in relation to our favorite fishing spots (and no, I won't share ;))and other stuff in the area.

Very enjoyable stay at Far Horizons and look forward to our next stay.
