Home features hardwood floors, sky lights, high efficiency washer & dryer, dishwasher, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, wood burning fireplace. Great area for biking, walking and snow mobiling.Sugarloaf the Old Course Golf Course right down the road so you can easily play golf all day long! Quiet and peaceful defines this great location. Relax out in the big back yard, relax, read a book, take a nap. Ahhh the good life. Lake Leelanau boat access 5 miles. 10 minutes to Leland. 12 minute to Glen Arbor. Given the price and the duration of our stay it worked out great. The Old Course was 5 minutes away. A great beach was 10 minutes away. Leland was 20 minutes away.

We all said the same thing ..... "it would be great if the deck was overlooking Lake Michigan". However, the weekend availability and the cost would have been out of our budget. Ceiling fans were huge. It was a very nice weekend.

We loved how close it was to Good Harbor Beach and the log chalet was beautiful. There were just a few things - first, there was no air conditioning. The temps happened to be in the high 90's when we were there - so, very warm. There also needed to have towel bars in the bathrooms. We only had 8 towels and 10 people. There was no remote in the downstairs for the tv. Other than those items, we had a great time and well worth the money. It was a great vacation. Good Harbor Beach was so close and the beach was so clean. Hardly anyone was there!! I would definitely do this again.

  We're glad you had a great time. Housekeeping does leave many towels in closets of the house, so unfortunately some of the extra towels might have been hidden! We would have been happy to bring you more, regardless. We're very happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll come see us again soon.

A beautiful, sunny house. Loved Sleeping Bear Dunes and downtown Cedar with a great little organic food market.
