  The cottage was exactly as advertised--a wonderful place reminding me of the cottages of childhood vacations in the area. The water was shallow enough to make it wonderful for young children to play, kayak,and swim safely. The bay's bottom is a bit rocky
  so bring water shoes. Watching the sunrise each morning from the dock or the great room was priceless. While there is no cable TV, we brought DVD's and found lots of things to do in the area: sand dunes, lighthouse, wineries, golf, volleyball, and shopping.
  Definitely hope to return next year!

  Our first time renting here and we loved it. Perfect for our family gathering with 6 kids under the age of 7. Rental company was fantastic throughout the whole process. Our only small issue was that the washing machine left some rust colored stains on the white towels and some of our personal laundry.

  My family and I spent a really idyllic week here! The house itself is a knock-out: a log cabin with all the modern amenities. We loved the huge front deck where we ate our breakfasts and dinners. The propery is really large so staying there you really feel like you have the bay all to yourself! Your far from the road, so there was no fear of my toddler nephew or our dog running into traffic. Location-wise, this house is perfectly situated: beautiful sunrises and just a short run into Northport, possibly the friendliest community in the Midwest! My only complaint: technology could be better. There was no Internet, no tv and cellular service for iPad/iPhone users was poor. Nevertheless, the sheer joy of being in the house and in that location makes up fore everything! We're already planning our next stay!

  We had a wonderful stay. The great room is enormous and is a perfect setting for gathering. The cabin needs new windows, roof etc.

  The place is nice and secluded, private dock, and beach with crystal clear water. Well stocked game closet. TV with DVD/VHS player, but no cable nor rabbit ears. Rustic motif. All appliances worked well and are newer. Would not hesitate to go again.
