  We all had an amazing time. The girls loved the cabin. I don't know if I will be able to get them to tent camp now. The location was perfect for trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Moomers, Crystal River, and Traverse City. There was plenty of space for us all
  to eat and hang out together.

  We just returned home from our amazing week spent at Cabin on the Creek! Our three generation vacation week was enjoyed by all in this beautiful, skillfully crafted log home. There were no details spared when building this spectacular log home. Each floor
  (3 floors) has its own full bath which is so nice with multi-generational family vacations! We loved the layout of the home, the cleanliness, the details in the decorating and the full laundry room. The location could not be better! Our kids (ages 7,8,10 and
  12) loved the creek in the back of the house and would spend every morning exploring the quiet area. The cabin is located minutes from so many beautiful beaches, shopping in Glen Arbor, Leland, and Traverse City and is located right off the beautiful drive
  of M-22! When we arrived we found that the home had many extra ammenities that we did not expect. There were bikes for us to enjoy, a clean grill and tools, a kitchen with all the pots, pans and cooking utinsils we needed, and a bottle of local wine to welcome
  us to the area. While this was our second year to the area, it was our first year staying in a home in this location. We will definitely be back and will make this an annual trip for our family! We thank the hosts for opening their truly beautiful log home!

  The place was so cozy, and we especially loved the creek. Lisa was the sweetest, easiest person to work with, and was very prompt with sealing the deal. The only thing I was slightly bummed about was that the cabin was 16 miles from Snow Moon ranch, and not 7. Unless our GPS took us the wrong way. Other than that, it was perfect!

  We arrived to find a large beautiful new cabin with absolute privacy. Just what we wanted! Everything was in awesome shape and looked just like the pictures on the website. Only negative is the lack of internet access and poor phone reception. Overall this is an awesome place for a vacation.

  This property was immaculate and perfectly suited for 3 couples with 3 full baths. For any visits to SBDNL, Traverse City, Leelenau and Old Mission peninsulas, the location is perfect. Quiet and peaceful. The cabin had all the amenities we could imagine or want. The only downside was we were so intent on seeing the area highlights, we didn't have enough time to enjoy much down time in the cabin.

  My family and I were most satisfied with the accomodations...the cabin was very clean, kitchen was well equipped with both dishes and cooking utensils, plus the cabin was tastefully decorated; although appears to be some work to do as far as the landscaping. Lisa was most helpful in booking the accomodations. I would suggest to the owners that a mirror would be helpful in 1 or 2 of the bedrooms . Overall, we were very pleased witht he Cabin -- would rent it again in a heartbeat!!!
  
  PS -- I did point out to the rental agent that we did see a few carpenter ants -- the owners need to address that issue pretty promptly...

  Everything was great. We had three families stay the weekend for a brother's wedding. It beat cramming into a hotel room. We were able to put the kids to bed and still socialize. Meals were better with a full kitchen. Plenty of full baths so we could get ready for events. If there is one con, I'd have to say it is the undersized, electric water heater. Couldn't handle three families showering in a small window of time...somewhat defeats the purpose of having so many full baths. After the first night we made sure to spread out the showers to give the water heater time to catch up. A cabin designed for up to 10 guests should have a water heater capable of servicing more than a couple showers in a row. Small point, but I was one of the few who had zero warm water on the first morning for my shower! It was literally like running the cold water for 30 straight minutes and then trying to shower under it. I think the creek in back had warmer water! :) I was first to shower the next morning.

  The cabin was very nice and had many things to make our stay pleasant. There was a problem with the electricity in the upstairs,however. The basement sliding glass door's lock had a problem as well. The inside of the microwave needed to be cleaned when we arrived. The bushes along the driveway need to be trimmed, because the briars on them were scraping our car as we passed. It was like an obstacle course to keep that from happening. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay. We'd stay there again, given the opportunity.

  A group of 9 of us stayed at the Cabin on the Creek for a bachelor party and had an amazing experience. The location is beautiful, the cabin is phenomenal, and I just simply can't say enough about it. The bottom line is this, every one of the other 8 guys on this trip commented on how great a time this was, and the cabin was no small part of that.
